Miliband pledges and miliband tuitions fees , Labour leader Ed Miliband has told Sky News he will stop families being clobbered by tuition fees by dramatically reducing the cost of university.
He said Labour will offer a credible, costed policy to reduce yearly fees by a third.
I've said let's not go ahead with the bank tax cut that the government is planning.
Let's use that money instead to help us cut tuition fees from £9,000 to £6,000.

"I think that's the right thing to do, not just because it's good for people - that's important - but because it shows how we want to change the economy.
"An economy based on long-term values, long-term investment in our young people."

Shadow cabinet office minister Tessa Jowell MP told Sky News the party was making the pledge as they know that many people would find the £9,000 fees "prohibitive".

"Rest assured that between now and the elections there will be further announcements about young people, and supporting young people," she said.

The £1bn move apparently would be paid for by requiring graduates earning more than £65,000 a year to pay higher interest on their student loans and by cancelling the Government's cut in corporation tax.
