All Mercenaries learn how to fire two blasters at once, and can opt to learn the skills of a Bodyguard using state-of-the-art medical technologies to heal and protect allies; acquire an Arsenal of Advanced rockets to rapidly deal damage; and access Advanced Prototypes including fiery missiles and darts to reduce and enemy's survivability and regenerative capacity.

Afterburners Passive Jet Boost impulse is stronger and pushes enemies 20% farther away when used. Lowers the cooldown of Jet Boost by 2 seconds. 2 ranks.
Combustion Passive Increases the duration of Combustion Gas Cylinder burn by 1 second and increases the burn proc chance by 2%. 3 ranks.
Endurance Passive Increases endurance by 1%. 3 ranks.
Energy Surge Passive Increases the duration of Energy Shield by 2 seconds and reduces its cooldown by 5 seconds. 2 ranks.
fanned flames Passive Increases the damage of fire damage over time effects by 5%. 3 ranks.
Heat Discharge Passive Missile Blast has a 50% chance to vent 8 heat. 2 ranks.
Infrared Detection Passive Increases stealth detection level.
Incendiary Missile Instant Deals elemental fire damage, exploding on contact, to an enemy at up to 30m, and deals burn damage every three seconds for 18 seconds afterward.
Improved Rocket Punch Passive Increases the damage of rocket punch by 2% and lowers its cooldown by 1.5 seconds. 2 ranks.
Kolto Shield Passive 50% chance when you are the victim of a critical to regenerate 6% of your health over 9 seconds. This effect can only occur every 9 seconds. 2 ranks.
Molten Fury Passive Rapid Shots and Rail Shots deal 3% more damage to burning targets. 3 ranks.
Prototype Heat Bypass Passive When you get a critical with a tech attack you have a 10% chance to vent 8 heat. This effect can only happen once every 3 seconds. 2 ranks.
Prototype Heat Dampeners Passive When you get stunned you have a 50% chance to dissipate 8 heat. This effect can only occur every 8 seconds. 2 ranks.
Prototype Particle Accelerator Passive Incendiary Missile has a 30% chance to finish on Rail Shot and to remove its heat cost. This can occur only once every 10 seconds.
